I've never really had a satisfactory answer to this on all the boards I've posted on. My core temp is LOWER than my cpu temp in bios and easytune. On idle it is
30c core and 46c cpu, and load 44c core and 58c cpu.
Everyone I speak to says it's wrong, they have core HIGHER than cpu. A few people I've spoken to also have lower core than cpu but we seem to be a minority. Someone who owns the rev 1.0 of my motherboard doesn't really trust his temp readings. I posted on the official gigabyte forum and someone who seems to work for gigabyte told me there are no known issues with temp sensors.
So can anyone tell me why my core temp is always lower than cpu temp?
