I am overclocking an E8500 processor and have had problems getting past 4.0 GHz. In my BIOS I set the CPU Vcore to 1.25625. In EasyTune 6 it says 1.2375. CPUID says it is 1.22 and CPU-Z says 1.184 to 1.2. I even ran Prime95 and watched the Vcore and that is the readings. What is correct?

its best to go off what you enter in the bios,enable loadline calibration to stop vdroop when your on full load vdroop=a drop in cpu voltages when its running at full loadGigabyte z77x UP4-TH F11c Modded Bios

LLC is fine enabled, those stories are just that.
For 4Ghz you may need 1.3+ actual so keep that in mind, Vtt will also need to be increasedComment
