  • GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P won't start up...Power Supply?

Hi guys, I'm building a new computer and have had issues getting it to start. It'll make slight noises or flash a few lights when powering on but simply won't start. I've just attempted booting it up with motherboard, cpu, and memory and still nothing. Which leads me to believe that my power supply is to low-500W. I'm pretty sure the board needs at least 500w to boot up so I'm confused :/.

    Thanks for the help.

500w should be plenty, have you tried with just one stick of ram?and make sure its in the correct slot

If this worked, would it still be possible to add the other 3 through bios or something later? (Sorry I'm a bit new to this.)

you can test each stick in slot one, that way youll know if you have a dead stick of ram if all your rams working then install it all and it must be something else, have you made sure your heatsinks propperly fitted? and do you have a manual to tell you which colour code ram slots to install them in?? on my board its the white slots but your board will be different
