Re: P55-UD4P & i7 860 4GHZ OC

I suggest to increase vCore to at least 1,3-1,325 and QPI/VTT Voltage to 1.3.

Bellow are my setting for 3885 MHz. Ram runs @ 1850. Hyperthreading is ENABLED. Turbo is OFF.

          Re: P55-UD4P & i7 860 4GHZ OC

Increasing vtt and vCore seems the only way to get a stable overclock when aiming for > 3.6. Voltage of 1.3 is still pretty safe.

Don't forget to test your OC with LinX and monitor your temps with Coretemp.

                      Did not try 4 GHz.

                      With 3,88, I reach 74 C with Linx. That's enough for me.

Please read my post here about QPI/Vtt, you may actually need 1.66-1.68 Ram voltage and 1.35-1.45+ QPI/Vtt for your memory at that overclock.

IOH increase will help as well

QPI/Vtt Voltage post (High is OK)
