    Gigabyte EP45-UD3R and Intel Q9400 keeps rebooting

    Hi

    I have built a new pc, but I cannot get the Gigabyte EP45-UD3R motherboard and Intel Q9400 combination to work.
    The machine keeps rebooting when I try to load any operating system.
    It can boot to BIOS.
    When I install a hard drive pre-loaded with windows (tried XP/Vista/7) the machine will not boot into WIndows unless it is in safe mode.

    The CPU works fine when tested in a different board.
    The board works fine when tested with a dual core CPU.

    I have 4gig (2x2gig) Kingston 800 RAM and a gigabyte 4350 graphics card.

    Please help.

    I don't know what to do.

    See this post for basic recommend settings at stock speeds.
    Have you already loaded optimized bios settings?
    Follow steps 1 - 4 to provide your bios settings and a detailed hardware list in your forum signature.

      Please provide the information explained in steps 1-4 in this post.

      Did you install your operating systems or did you migrate them from another setup?
      Which dual core the board works with?
