Update again ... hai exius, i found stability 4ghz with MCH 1.24volt :) nice ... looks like it quite stable but i will do test in gaming daily, i hope it can hold on that low MCH ^_^

Guys, if i set vram to 2 volt is it safe for 1130mhz 5-5-5-15? i just worry about my vram coz i set it to low 1.9v yet quite stable for now i dont know for how long .... and if i set auto on bios it will be 2.2v which is i think its too high right? correct me pls :)

What is the rated voltage for your memory?

Hmmm MCH 1.24v seems not stable again :( just tried IBT but when i look at speed Gflops its lower ... my current stable now are :
        Vcore : 1.35v
        VTT : 1.28v
        PLL : 1.59v
        MCH : 1.3v
        Vram : 1.9v

@lsdmeasap--> my rated voltage mem are 1.9-2.0v ddr2 1200mhz 6-6-6-18, if i use 1130mhz and timing 5-5-5-15 then is it stable using vdimm 1.9v??

That is good then if 555-15 is stable with 1.9, that means you have room to push speed, timings, or voltages still.

Lower than stock voltage is fine as long as it's stable, the voltage rating on memory is not what has to be used, only what they allow under warranty is all.

@Lsdmeasap--> if i do re test with IBT max level 20loop with same setting then i found speed Gflops are not same like first test such as too low from 55.5000 to 54.0000 or even 53.0000 then it is not stable .... right or wrong? :)
Btw latest nvidia driver 260.99 has bug or maybe the game has bug, with playing Front mission evolved after 1 hour or more comes BSOD, i have 2 friends with the same problem with same game.... even my friend told me that when running heaven benchmark 2.1 his card couldnt passed full test, again BSOD....... guess driver 260.89 is more stable for now.

Not sure, I never run multiple sessions as it's not really needed. Too many runs of linpack is not good for CPU's

Hmm right i'm affraid procie will get broken if i run multiple IBT session ... so now i stop test with IBT and here my latest stable 4ghz again with lower MCH 1.24volt, tested in gaming a few days with no problem :) and finally i follow prof jim or lsdmeasap advice that i should set memory performance level to standard when oc procie ^_^ the result is stable speed Gflops.
So if i'm too much using IBT and wanna test again which stressing software should i use? prime? or OCCT?

                  Re: New Goal: 4.2ghz q9550 + ep45-ud3p + 8gb g.skill pi black pc2-6400

Running more than a 10 loop IBT test qualifies as cpu abuse
I've never seen others who ran multiple simultaneous IBT sessions.

IBT or LinX are good as a quick stability test, but I've had many times where IBT or LinX was good for 10 loops, but Prime95 and/or OCCT tests had errors. These failed tests often had errors after 2 - 10 hours. On a few occasions, the errors occurred after 13 - 15 hours. My preference is to run each of the three Prime95 or OCCT tests for at least 8 - 12 hours, running only one test at a time.
Note: IBT and LinX each have an option to save test results to their respective program folders.

The OCCT PSU test is a very demanding test that combines the "worst" of linpack and FurMark testing. I usually run the OCCT PSU test for no more than 30 - 60 minutes.

You've done a great job high-jacking the thread, and you've provided good information and feedback that will help others.
MCH Core voltage = 1.24 seems a bit low, but if it works with your setup thats OK.
If you overclock higher, you will probably need to tweak the MCH reference and possibly CPU reference settings.

I agree, I use 10 passes of LinX at the most. Then I use 4-6 x HCI memtest in windows using 400-1024MB each, running to 500-1000%

Hehehe thx prof jim ^_^ i love to share and love to read others sharing in here :) sorry about "high jacking exius thread" ^^
Btw last i ran test again with IBT 20loops level max MCH 1.24volt and yet it survived again including tight ram timing.... i set in "advanced memory timing" to 3,3,6,52,3 sorry if i type wrong hehe abit forgot ^_^ so its enough now for fsb 471 :)
later will trying experiment with fsb 500 ... i hope i can.
This is my last SS in exius thread guys, thx to all for helping or supporting me :) prof jim and lsdmeasap just like great mentor here in tweaktown hehe.
