    Update.

    I've had teh CMOS battery out for over 30 mins and problem appears to be sorted. I will see how it goes over coming days.

    My computer no longer switched itself off after changing certain settings in the bios after saving. Now it just exits bios when I save and starts computer normally.

    What could of caused this problem?

      usually a bad oc setting that causes cmos corruption/boot loops,it usually wipes it when you clear cmos thats what its there for,like i said 30mins or overnight if one minute doesnt clear it
