    hi guys!! this is my first i7 oc..so please help me with my i7 930! i'd really appreciate it.
    my target OC is 4.5 GHZ 24/7


    My system:


    CPU: Intel i7 930

    Cooling: Noctua nh-d14

    Mobo: Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R (rev FA)

    Memory: DDR III 1600Mhz‎ - ‏3x2GB Patriot Extreme Performance Triple Channel‎ model PVT36G1600LLK xtreme Performance PC3-12800 (1600MHz)

    GPU: GTX 460 1 GB GIGABYTE SLI 2X

    HDDs: 1TB 7200RPM 32MB, Sata II HD103SJ

    PSU: Cooler Master HAF 932 Full tower

    If you can give me stable settings for 4.5 if you can i will appreciate that alot thanks again.

    you wont clock to 4.5ghz on air,you need water for that,grab and download my 4.2ghz template if you wanna try that,best try a 21x200 instead of a 22x cpu multi as it will be more stable and use less voltage,if you need anymore help then post back

      edit:btw im using you settings but i have one problem i cant disable the Load Line Calibration..

        you should have an option to disable it

          standard setting is LLC off

              to disable LLC leave it at standard
              to enable dvid set cpu voltage to normal

                But one more question he said that i need to set DRAM Timing Selectable to Quick.

                and than edit em all memory channels to 8 8 8 24
                but i cant it only allows me edit only 1 channel to 8 8 8 24

                  quick does all 3 chanels, expert alows each individually

                      you might be using too much cpu voltage,1.22500v should be anough for 4.2ghz so try with dvid set to its normal setting,you can enable all the c-states except for c1e keep that disabled, every cpu/mb will be different for example my chip needs/uses 1.18750v on normal setting so you will need to tweak things a little

                        I dont get it...my Cpu Vcore is now on normal..and dvid is +07500v.
                        What do i need to set up that it will be stable?I am sorry but my english is bad.

                          Try this, note i am runing 12 GB RAM and these settings run hot, i am working on them at the moment but it is stable though will get hot in Prime
                          my CPU needs a lot of volts with 12 GB RAM you should be able to lower the settings once you check that you are satble. Especially the QPI-VTT as you only have 6 GB RAM

                            put dvid to normal and try not with +0.0750,look in the list and select normal both for cpu and dvid
