its probably jumping to 1.4 because you have cpu voltage on auto? and loadline calibration set to 1,try without llc and manually set cpu voltage and try 21x cpu again

Each multiplier used gives a different stock vcore. In your template, x19 gives a "normal" vcore of 1.0875, and you are using DVID, so adding 0.125 gives you an actual vcore of ~1.2125. When you raise the multiplier to 21, you are also raising the "normal" vcore, so when you add the DVID to it, you get the higher voltage you have observed.

Go into the BIOS and look at the vcore when using the 21 multiplier. It will much higher than 1.0875, so you must adjust the DVID accordingly to compensate. As an example, my 930 gives a vcore of 1.2875 with the x22 multiplier, and only 1.1625 with the x19. So if I use +0.175 with DVID at x19 I get a vcore of 1.3375. With x22 it would give me 1.4625, so I must back the DVID down to +0.05 to get the same 1.3375 vcore.

The CPU Vcore is set to normal and LLC is Level 1. I did not notice if the Vcore base voltage changed when I raised to 21. I'm running OCCT3.1 now with the block set at 208. After 10 minutes temps are looking good at 77c. I'm going to let it run for another 20 then I'll try raising the multi to 21 again and note the base voltage. Thanks for the help.

Tried setting multi to 21 and block at 190. Vcore does change and I tried to adjust DVID to correct numbers so Vcore is less than 1.30v. So far my system likes the multi set at 19 and best block so far is 208. Had to lower SPD to 6 (1260) to keep memory below 1600. Also set Uncore at x12 (2320). I'll try again later to see if I can get multi to work at x21.

it should run at 21x190,just adjust dvid to get you a stable voltage,and you might need more qpi/vtt,try with 1.3 or 1.31500v,uncore freq can be 13x and 14x too whatever is more stable

My system still won't run stable with the multi set at 21. tried block at 186 and raised the voltage as you suggested. I guess I'm going to leave it at 19 X 200 for now and start using this system instead of just tweaking. BTW, I moved the WD 1T off the SATA3 port, added another WD 1T drive and I'm running them RAID 0 on the Intel SATA2 ports.

what voltage in dvid did you use? for me im stable 21x200 with normal cpu of 1.18750v and adding +0.0750v in dvid making total of 1.26v but drops to 1.23v due to vdroop,you could try manually setting cpu voltage to 1.26 and skipping dvid as sometimes its not stable but then the cpu wont throttle at idle,intel ports are more stable than the marvell ones,they cant cope with fast data transfer rates atm

After reseting the cmos and starting over following the 3 step guide I seem to max out my bclock @ 188 although I was unable to complete a OCCT 3.1 test (had to raise QPI/Vtt up to 1.415) because of overheating at those settings.. The 6 sticks of OCZ memory is running 8-8-8-24-2t, SPD 8, Vdimm 1.66. After running the bclock and memory runs, changed CPU to Level 1, Normal (1.2873) and Dvid to +.00625 (later lower to 0.0000). So I am keeping it at 180X21, QPI/Vtt @ 1.395, and Vcore @ 1.2875. One last question, does the Uncore Ratio matter as long as its above twice memory speed. Right now I left it at 21 (3780). Max temps after running OCCT was 85-84-80 using RealTempGT.

as long as its stable the uncore freq can be anything from twice the mem multiplier to 2x+1 or 2x+2

So after looking over all of my notes is 21 X 180 any better or worst than 19 X 200. My system seemed to run fine and at lower temps with the 19 multiplier.

No, I left that enabled. BTW, the main use of this system is for photoshop and some video editing.
