  • Need some serious help for X48-DQ6

    Hi guys.
I was so stupid trying to OC a bit.

    mobo is x48-dq6
cpu is intel core 2 duo 3.15ghz e8500.

I did change the frequency from 333mhz to 350 and cpu voltage from 1.18 to 1.30

    Running on liquid cooling.

when i save this to bios and it did a reboot then the computer is in boot loop.

tried to clear cmos even removing the battery and power for about 16 hours. still it is in boot loop. runs for about 2 sec without screen pic.

Anyone here that can give me some help please?

Have you tried booting with only one stick of memory yet?

If not please try that. If that does not help, try powering up the system multiple times, while flicking the power supply on/off many times with the switch on the back of the PSU, sometimes this will cause it to auto recover.

Have you jumped the CLR_CMOS pins? Try this too, if you did not.
