No, brand new, would have to order another one if I were to try another one since nothing but utter crap is to be found in the local stores.

could be psu or memory related,if you could get into the bios without it freezing you could add more qpi/vtt voltage,

have you tried fully clearing the cmos? by removing mb battery for 30 minutes just to be sure

          Re: X58A-UD3R dead?

There was just someone here this week with that exact PSU and it turned out the +3V rail was funky and they had to replace it.

If you need me to find the thread I can, so you can compare thoughts or ask that user if he thinks you have the same issue.

Actually, I'll find it now so you can.

          *Edit*

Here, sounds like it might be a similar issue?

            Re: X58A-UD3R dead?

I have never owned a Corsair PSU but I have had 2 "Name brand" PSU's go bad in the last couple of years. Your symptoms would make me think your issue lies there. I would try to confirm or rule out that possibility before you attempt to RMA your board. If you can't readily get a PSU to try do you have access to another computer to try the Corsair in, one of your own or a friends?
