    GTX 560 Ti problem

    Hi, my new graphic card GTX 560 Ti got some drivers problem?

    The graphic when starting firefox(or movies) for example, start to get "dirty?" with colors.

    And the driver start rebooting(screen flashing)

    Display driver stopped responding and has recovered

    Display driver nvidia kernel mode driver, version 266.77 stopped responding and has successfully recovered.


    Any ideas? This just happen randomly, and are solved with a computer restart.


    I have tested both old and new drivers.

    Is your system 100% tested stable otherwise with stability programs such as memtest86+, Prime95, OCCT, Intel Burn Test, LinX, ect?

    What motherboard are you using, and what BIOS? Also, what power supply?

    And what exact card is this, model and or company would be nice to know so we can check to see if there is maybe a BIOS update for the card itself.

    Do you have the latest Shockwave and Flash players installed, both?

      Its a gigabyte SOC, but i think i sovled it, it was getting to hot. Didnt think that was possible but hey! seems to be working fine now when i have opened my computer case.

        I had that problem with my GTX295. But with an open case. The Fan's factory set speed settings, just never worked well.

        So I finally started manually setting them with Precision Tune's. And the card has been ROCKING for over a year.

        Going to upgrade to GTX560-sli soon!

          Replace the thermal paste with something better, like MX-2 or TX-2, whatever you choose make sure it's non-conductive.

          nice to see you found the cause though, sorry it's overheating. Did you try raising the fan speed so you can shut your case door?

            Something funny, just started happening again, and i checked the 2side cables on the card, they wasnt "clicked" in, that could be why maybe. hehe
