Yes, like Chike said, I just pried off the thin sheet metal HS cover. Wrap a jeweler's screwdiver (flat head) with some kitchen towel for padding and carefully remove it. It's held on with two strips of double sided tape.
I was actually impressed by how good that tape was. Nearly two years later, I stuck them back on using the original tape and they held with no issues. :)
Once you have the HS fins exposed, air from a side fan should be plenty to keep it cool.
