  • GA-Z68X-UD7-B3 Touch Bios Error

    Hi all,

    Installed this board to replace my UD4 B3 this morning. I downloaded the latest F6 bios and installed the Touch bios program. I'm afraid when I try and run this I am getting a .NET error - Unhandled Exception.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
        <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    I am running Win 7 64 SP1. Can anyone help?

    It seems that I am not the only one with this error. I wonder what version of .net you need to run it?

    Can anyone decode this error for me? - Overclockers Australia Forums

      Re: GA-Z68X-UD7-B3 Touch Bios Error

      I'm also getting this error, though I'm running the F7d beta BIOS. I used to be able to run Touch Bios fine using the version prior to the current one, so I'm guessing something changed.

      It's no biggie for me, seeing as I'm fine using the normal BIOS, though it would be nice to have it fixed for convenience.

        I had a similar problem (GA-Z68X-UD7) i7 2600k.
        All attempts to upload TB ver. B11060701, changes in the F6C bios, and other combinations of Microsoft. NET Framework, it was always this error.
        Flach bios to F6. In the bios load optimized defaults. Now you simply let the system boot into the OS you have installed That Previously.
        The OS I have used is Win7 SP1 64bit but you can use which ever is your fancy.
        Now once we are in OS we have to do a couple of things before we can proceed. First thing is install the latest Intel Drivers for your motherboard. And reboot when asked to. Second install the latest Intel Management software. (MEI_allOS_7.1.13.1088.exe) from: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Deta...&DwnldID=20078 You will not be asked to reboot after installing this.
        And install the old Touch BIOS (released today 27/5/2011 ???) I used this ver. B11.0512.1. You can no longer find on the internet. I send e-mail.
        Once you have completed the installation I would suggest rebooting your system. It is not required but I think it might be a good idea anyway as lots of really interesting things have been done to the PC and EFI Hybrid BIOS. Do not download the update, because it does not work again.
