I just got finished specing out a computer build for the i7 2600k 1555 socket. I plan to build this computer. I orig used an ASUS P8P67 Deluxe MB. I realized/remembered I need a IEEE 1394 TI Firewire chip. I know Gigibyte boards have the TI 1384 chip in them and that is what I need. I spent all day doing this and then at ard 10pm started looking for Gigabyte boards to meet my needs and it got too cumbersome. Be nice if we had a excel or matrix showing which boards have what on them. Wld save me tons of time., My critiera for the i7 2600k1555 MB are as follows; 1. TI 1394 chip 2. 8>= Gig ram with XMP profiles 3. SATA III 6Gpbs. 4. USB 3.0 . 5. Hopefully at least 2 PCIe x 16 slots. The more PCI slots the better. 6. Supports overclocking of the CPU and ram. My other option is to use a IEEE 1394 TI chip PCI card but not preferred. Rick :<}=

Check out z68 boards for that , and workarounds..and boards with the nvidia 2*** chip.
When i was checking out p67 boards the only well featured one in the gigabyte range was the ud7 and it was v expensive.
