    Hello all!
It has been a long time since, that said I got this board and wondering if this Mem will work good in it? G-Skill Ripjaws8GB(2X4) F3-16000CL9D-8GBRM. Also any pointers as I'm stepping off a X58 to this set up........

    THANKS!

    Re: Gap67a-ud5-b2

That memory should be fine to use with the P67A-UD5.

Be sure you update to the latest BIOS, and to save yourself hassles once you have done that and have the BIOS defaults all setup how you need them per your hardware then go ahead and flash the backup BIOS to match the main.

Here is how to do that.
GIGABYTE Tech Daily: Video guide how to update your backup bios on GIGABYTE P67 boards

Coming from X58 you should be fine on P67, it's super easy to work with

          OPPS its a Ga-P67A-UD5-B3
My bad, OK so I been reading the Xtreme systems forum on this board a lot of info there(from you too LSD). I bumped my VID to 1.28 @4500 no problem. But now I'm getting all sorts of flaky results, I set extreme on the mem it clocks to 1866. How do you change the multi in the bois? I have the F5 bios. Every time I try to OC it goes into multi boot then pops up that small screen saying my setting my have changed since my OC failed. Very frustrating, I try not to change to much in the bios to determine what is causing it and I'm at a total loss.I know there is a more current bios can you link me,
          Thank you!

              Thank you Wazza!
You the same Wazza on the Bench Tec tool box? I meant the Multi but I found it under CPU settings, I still can not get back to the 4500 I first got on this board. I tried fleshing to the F6 bios, then set to defaults before and after the flash no go? Any help at all, I heard of an F7 BIOS but can't find it.
              Thanks guys!

                    Thanks man!
My temps are good for summer time. Just getting it running without issue's now, not as familiar with this Bios as other boards. But I'm getting comfy using the templates in it, and tweaking stuff out. I will get way higher, just going slow right now.

                        Your right Wazza,
I'm not sure why (unless its this bios I got F6) but it's losing the hard drive anytime I go over 4.8Ghz, no matter what my settings are? My revision for the board is 9. Anybody know where to get a none beta bios from? Man I had the last two days off work, planed on doing some over clocking but no love again!
                        ANYBODY know of another bios??

                            Wassa,
Its as flaky as my moms home made pies! I got the other bios's from the Gigabyte's site(gonna try them all)I had the F5 when I got the board then went to the F6 witch seemed better, right now I'm on F4. I didn't know about the USB3 shut off I'll try that, I always shut off the energy features under CPU. The thing is one minute it boots fine the next NOTTA. I read on another forum could be the mem causing it so ill try to eleminate that by using my Dominator 1600 as these Ripjaws state"2000" but I'm starting to think I made a bad move with them now.
Thank you for all your help, I'll try the ram and post back............
