    I don't know,you would need to test,there's no harm in testing ahci mode as you can always switch back to IDE,it could be a BIOS bug with f4 BIOS,just use the BIOS version that works best for you

      switched back to f3 and everything is perfect nothing more needed to be done...

        The F4 added support to 22nm CPUs and TouchBIOS, maybe they messed up something, try to report it to GB support so they may fix it in future BIOS releases.

          sometimes you get bugs like that,thats why i stick to f12 bios for my mb,it just works best for me,wait till a newer bios comes out then you can try that one and hope theirs no problems
