I7 960
X58-UD3R v2 FF BIOS (upgraded from FE)
12GB Corsair DDR3 1600 (3x4gb)
2x GTX 460s
640 WD Black
So this just happened to me today. Was doing a simple BIOS update using @BIOS, upgrade went ok. Rebooted, lost settings, redid them, rebooted. Won't post, rebooted back to the BIOS, and the multiplier went back up! The BIOS is saving ALL my other settings in the MIT menu and advanced integrated menu, but will NOT save the CPU multipler setting (I run 200x19, but upon reboot it jacks it back to 24x).
I tried disabling Intel turbo, and it worked ONCE, but did not work again (reset it back to 24x). I disabled all the power saving options too. (C1E), etc.
I have found no other posts about this. Bad CMOS battery? Bad BIOS chip? HELP!
