    Then what? Thanks!
Oh. I would install all the drivers first. I usually let Windows update after I get basic functionality, it's just that if you have problems it's good to rule out Windows updates and such.

OOps missed post on RAM. Just make sure the correct settings are applied, if it has Profiles then load Profile 1 and make sure timings, voltage correct. You will have to set from Auto to Quick to change timings, but usually the BIOS sets up right.

In browsing the online driver files for gigabyte. I see there are some labeled pre-installer. I guess I do the obvious eh?

Only if you're going to use the Marvell controller I think. The normal SATA drivers Windows will install. Funny no one would answer you.

            Thanks,

Well the CSet drivers and the rest went in fine and got lots of win-updates in. Still finding them. I'm@ work now.
The GPU is all good too.
My boards date is 3/2012. My BIOS is F4. I guess I will Qflash F7 next. No, USB 3.0 driver yet. I'm keeping an eye on the BSOD thread for this M-board before i do.

Re: Looking @ A New Build - Been Out Of It A While - Help Me Spend My Money

My USB 3.0 is working fine with latest Intel drivers. One thing I noticed is within BIOS I have to use my front USB 3.0 ports, the USB 2.0 ports won't recognize my mem stick until Windows boots. So if you have problems with Qflash you might try a 3.0 port.
The fan controller like yours I ordered went dead before the board could even finish booting. After shutting down and checking all the wiring the psu wouldn't even come on until I unplugged the Scythe. POS. Having a terrible time with Newegg stuff lately for some reason.
