  • Overvoltage LEDs question

I have had this motherboard (gigabyte UD3r x58) for over a year and I have never noticed this orange overvoltage led, I have always noticed the green one though. Is everything okay? I noticed that at 1.25 vcore if my cpu speed was below 3.6ghz it would not light up orange, but going over 3.6ghz lit the orange and green light instead of just the green. I am probably over reacting but I have had a 3.95ghz for a long time and honestly never noticed it with about 1.28vcore.

    Re: Overvoltage LEDs question

I found out what the issue was. I had left vtt/qpi to auto and it was sending 1.45v to the chip. adjusted to 1.33 and only green indictator led.
