Board came back and is new, same thing happening with black lines .I took out one stick of ram and lines are gone, both ram sticks are good ,it happens just when 2 sticks of ram are installed.Any ideas?

can you post a pic of the black lines?

its probably memory/voltage related,i dont know much about amd systems but one or two clicks more cpu northbridge and or dram voltage might help

It is not amd it is an intel G540 processor installed, i will post pic soon, thks

I ran a intel processor test and it says platform controller hub test failed, what do I do?

do you have a graphic card to test? and have you adjusted the voltages for the integrated graphics?

Sorry I did not read all posts but after reading the first page and no one has asked the question I would have asked first, is have you tried another monitor?

yes another monitor was tried the first time with first board.I did not touch anything in bios at all on new board.
What about that intel error? fail test?

Hi I really need someone who knows this board and to fix timings on memory, it is either memory or all these boards are faulty???

remind me what youve tried,does it do it with one stick of memory installed? and what have you adjusted in the bios?

One stick of ram installed and lines are gone,I tried another monitor,another power supply, new mobo rev1.1 same model board though,all to no success. When 2 sticks involved lines come back.Did not touch bios.

isnt there any options to adjust the igpu memory amount or voltage or igpu core voltage? and tested with dvi cable dual or single link? can only be memory related imo as theirs no lines with just one stick

Igpu memory is at 64megs ,voltage memory at 1.5v,no igpu voltage.Tested 2 monitors same thing.I got in touch with Intel and they came to a conclusion of faulty graphics on processor,they did a RMA today. After that is the ram and Gskill said if needed those will be replaced.They also said the mobo should put the ram at the right timings automatically. I'll wait and see.Thks
