wow, what a horror story this build has been for you... I hope it's the igpu, but I would had tried 2 different RAM sticks to rule out the ram... funny how they go away with only 1 stick.Main Rig

Thks for reply , I got my new processor today from Intel (rma) and installed, all lines are gone!!! It was a faulty processor, now I am trying to change ide to ahci in windows 8 but to no luck.Anyone have any ideas? ThksComment

i have no idea on win8,on win7 it was a simple reg tweak,heres what ive found for win8 without re-installing

Hi again on the gigabyte site I downloaded for my mobo a Preinstall sata driver folder with .sys .inf files I installed the inf files what do I do with the .sys files, there is no setup.ThksComment

i dont know the reg hack for win8,it would be quicker to just set to ahci in the bios and do a re install of win8,no need for pre install drivers,its the same as win7Gigabyte z77x UP4-TH F11c Modded Bios

THks I tried something like that you really don't need to delete that registry value override, as long as the drivers are installed and those 2 drivers in registry are to 0 and the package from gigabyte is put in system32folder ,it will work I am using ahci mode without re-installing windows 8.
Now I am wondering why this intel management interface will not install, any ideas? ThksComment

what is the fault/error that you're getting when you try to install it?
Win8's official release isn't until the 26th, I'd expect issues with certain features until then. I've been running windows 8 in a virtual machine and it has yet received any updates.
