  • GA-Z77X-UD3H - Onboard Graphics are not working

I have a video card installed so this isn't a big deal but I wanted to check out the video on the board and it's not working. I installed the board on 12/1/12 - 12/2/12 and have looked in the device manager and I only see the drivers for the NVidia card. I became aware of this issue when I tried to install the Lucid Logix driver and it told me the Integrated Graphics Device was not found. Is there any way that I can fix this

Did you install the Intel graphics drivers? If not install them, reboot to BIOS and set up options for integrated graphics on the Peripherials page I think.

What driver would that be. I got on the Gigabyte site and I don't see that driver. I've installed all other drivers for this board. I couldn't use the dvd that came with the board since i'm on win 8

Update: I downloaded the VGA Driver and tried to install it and i'm told the system doesn't meet the minimum requirements. I don't get it. I don't know if this matters but I have win 8 on the SSD(Drive C) but am trying to apply the graphics driver from an HDD (Drive B)

Yes, it's Intel VGA driver. Win 8 may already have it, I don't know. Usually when you first do updates on Win 7 it always wants to install it for me. Sure you tried to install the right one, that is 64 bit?
You might try looking in Control Panel under Programs and Features and see if it's already installed. If not I don't know what to tell you, I have no experience with Win 8.

Re: GA-Z77X-UD3H - Onboard Graphics are not working

I got it. I had to enable Internal Graphics in the bios. it was set to Auto which confused me. Now I need to get the template for the bios so I can get ideas on moew settings but that's for another thread. thanks to both of you folks for the help. I'm looking at EasyTune 6 and the PCH setting is 127 degrees. Is that normal and what is PCH. I'm trying to take a screen shot of it but not having much success.

glad to hear you got the igpu up and running.

The pch temp is the chipset and normally runs high so no worries.
