I'm building a new system and am having a problem after booting into Windows 7 Premium concerning a RAID-0 on the Marvel 6GB/s chipset. The Marvel software sees the Raid-0 but Windows 7 does not?
I have 2 Corsair Force Series GT CSSD-F180GBGT-BK 2.5" 180GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) on the Intel Serial ATA 6 GB/s in RAID-0, this works fine
I have 2 Western Digital WD Black WD2002FAEX 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drives and want to take advantage of 6GB/s. since I have the Corsair SSDs on the Intel chipset I have to use the Marvel chipset. Problem is Windows 7 does not see the Raid-0 after installation.
So my question is why can't Windows-7 see the RAID-0 and what is the best way to set the two WD 2TB drives up when I install Windows-7 and after install so Windows sees the Raid-0 on the Marvel chipset?
my system components.
