I have been stuck with this issue for a few days. I just replace my old HDD with a Mushkin Chronos SSD 120GB. Then, I cannot perform a clean install of win7. In fact, I cannot install any OS, tried win7/8, Fedora and Ubuntu, with both x86 and x64. On win7, I got bsod with code 0x00000124, during the "Expanding Windows File..." process. It can never get pass 6%. Most of the time it go to bsod at about 1%.
These are the fixes I tried, and still nothing:
Have no idea what to do next. The only issue I can think of right now is that the SSD isn't compatible with my mainboard. Any other thought?

These are the fixes I tried, and still nothing:
- ACHI, RAID and Native IDE
- Change to another identical SSD
- Ran MB + RAM test
- I tried to load 3rd party ACHI and RAID drivers, but got an error saying "Installing an unsigned 64-bit device driver is not supported and might result in an unstable Windows installation".
- Flash BIOS
Have no idea what to do next. The only issue I can think of right now is that the SSD isn't compatible with my mainboard. Any other thought?
