Can I use adhesive on a mobo/heatsink?

Hello All,

I have a spare iceberq pro heat sink with no way of securing it to the northbridge chip on my ASUS A7V8X-X other than too use some Arctic Alumina adhesive.

I was wondering if that would do the trick, or if it would cause unforseen consequenses? :no:

That or any type of Thermal Epoxy will do the trick m8.

Heh when I was desperate I used muffler cement to glue a fan on a heatsink :P haha :thumb:
