Then your bios temps are way off. My 1700 at the same speed with only 1.4v with an MCX462+ and 80mm tornado w/ Shin Etsu idles at 43 (temp probe on back of motherboard).

How do you know? The only way to get accurate temps is with a physical temp probe. The only thing bios temps are good for is comparison, i.e. using two different heatsinks on the exact same board/cpu/bios version. The actual temps are way off on ANY board. Do you really think your CPU is only 10 degrees over ambient @ 1.7v with a cheapo heatsink?
