amd 2600+ multiplier unlocking??

how do i unlock the multiplier lock on my amd 2600+ and what temp is considered too high for my cpu.

To unlock it, you would have to go through a process that basically turns it into an Athlon MP, which won't work in many desktop boards. Basically, you can't unlock Athlon XPs anymore.
