0pty 146 lil beater second rig

hi guys,
okie dokie got my 146 in last week all the parts and slapped it together 2 nights ago.i was telling some peeps in previuos posts that i wanted to build a under $900 second beater box .well anyway heres the short specs version
dfi ultra d sli mobo,sapphire x850xt(oc to x850xt-pe)$134 newegg!,2 gigs ocz platium 3200 rev2,opty 146,xp90(alum),thermaltake 430 blk,pioneer 805 dvd burner\cd\rw combo,wrapped up in this case http://www.lian-li.com/Product/Chass...6X_S_PC-60.htm anyway i tried a million diff settings,timings,voltage bumps and cant bust 3.0 stably(with the 2 gigs),even with 2 x 512 crucial ballistics modules(2gigs platium in it now 24\7)..lol anyway heres were i loked in prime stable,memtest9,timings were shocking for 270 fsb http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=91505

05 = 6,120

Did you say that's a 430W TT PSU you're using? I wouldn't want to try an overclock on that system with that PSU. I'd bet it's what's holding you back. That Opty ought to do better than 2.7GHz on that system.

How'd you get the X850XT for $134? That's a ridiculous price. The ones I see on Newegg right now are around $170. Did you get a refurbished card or something?

yes i got it(x850xt) at new egg refurbished $135 and playing bf2 at 1800x1440 settings med-hi just like my main rig does almost hehe.and yes the powersupply is going in my 3rd pc(p4 3.0 800fsb box,single 74 gig raptor,9800pro,1 gig crucial ballistics).as far as overclocking my opty,its rok solid 2.71 ghz on the button http://valid.x86-secret.com/show_oc?id=91505 i love it and btw i have (2) x850xt,s here,i orderd 2 of em!.1 for spare card between the 2 amd rigs,there simply amazing for the money.i cant belive i have 7 gigs of ram here,lol (6)1 gig sticks of ocz platium and 1 gig of crucial ballistics,,,lmfo life is good
