  • My First Overclock

    Hello Everyone, I just performed my first oc and was wondering if you guys can lend a hand. I been at this for two days now off and on, and i just cant seem to get the setting correct two get this chip stable at 4.3Ghz or 4.2.

    Here is a screenshot when i had it at 4.1Ghz, but was getting an error from orthos that read "FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4"

    The chip is an E8500 and the board is a GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R



    Now im try for 4.22 with the following setting and the machine will either bsod, or just reboot. Any help would be great, thank you.

      Thanks, after messing with this for a few days, i finally got a good test with good temps. If anyone else has an E8500 with a Gigabyte P45 UD3R board, and need a reference. This is what i used.

      Thanks for the replies, a few of the volts were way to high. I brought them down a bit, and its all good, thank you again.
