Lsdmeasap ... These are the settings I have used thus far. Stable means that Prime95 ran for a couple of hours and did not just gag after 10 minutes.

      Re: OCing GaX48-DS4 w/E8400

Sorry bud, did you PM me about an issue or did we talk somewhere else? I help so many users each day, just not sure what you are trying to get going aside from that 3.8 I assume.

Can you link me to your ram or give the exact model # and amount.

      *EDIT*

Just saw your PM and replied, I await your ram specifics and then I will try to help you get going

        Re: OCing GA-X48-DS4 w/E8400

        The memory:

        Brand: G.SKILL
        Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK
        Type: 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM
        Installed 8GB: 2 x (4GB (2 x 2GB))
        Speed: DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500)
        Cas Latency: 5
        Timing: 5-5-5-15
        Registered/Unbuffered: Unbuffered
        Error_Checking: Non-ECC
        Voltage: 2.0V - 2.1V

        DDR2

BIOS is F3B, which is a beta. I recall seeing that there is a newer one. Do you know? When I went from F2 to F3B the .5 multiplier went away.

          Re: OCing GaX48-DS4 w/E8400

Hmm, you should not have lost your .5 multi from F2-F3b, but you do know you can only use it under 9 right? I mean like 6.5, 7.5, and 8.5. Just checking

Latest BIOS For your board is F3b, but maybe if you are missing the .5 multi's you need to flash again but properly. If so, please read this guide so you can flash properly Do not use @BIOS >>

.5 multi's suck anyway I think, I always advise against them when possible.

Here is what I suggest you try for 3.8 and your ram >>

              Re: OCing GaX48-DS4 w/E8400

You must select 8 CPU multi or below to use a .5 multi, are you doing that?

MCH Skew set to zero, then set MCH Voltage to +0.25-0.3 and add a bit more Vcore and see if you can test longer then you did that time
