Can't overclock cpy anymore. (New GPU)

I can't seem to oveclock my cpu since i've gotten a xfx5770 and before that i had a 9500gt. I could overclock my e4400 to 2.9ghz but after the change i can't even "enable" "cpu host clock control" without the boot will fail and restart with stock clocks. It's really weird because when i take it on "disable" it will start normaly but when i change it to "enable" without changing the fsb is will fail.

motherboard : Gigabyte GA-G41M-ES2L
psu : Silverstone strider SST-ST50F-ES 500W

Gpu change has something to do with PCie frequency, lock it to 100 Mhz or 101.

i have tested with 100. but not with 101. i will reply later if it works.
