  • I've Lost My Direction

Ok so I have not done this for awhile and I figure the easiest way would be to ask Whats a safe voltage increase for CPU & MEM & AGP and what are the average increases for my GF4 any help appriciated

Processor - 1.85v should be your maximum unless you get some high-end cooling in place (water, vapor, peltier).

Memory - Default is 2.5v so you can take it to 2.7 or 2.8 without any problems. I'd go with some sort of active cooling if you decide to go higher.

AGP - Depends on the AGP version you're using. AGP 2x uses a default 3.3v, AGP 4x uses 1.5v and AGP 8x uses 0.8v as default levels. A general rule is no more than 10% unless you aggressively cool the component. The MX440 card you have in your signature will probably be running at AGP 4x standards, so take it from there. As to the overclocking levels on that board,it has been too long since I played with one to be able to give a valid answer. The old Prolink model I tested some time ago was able to run nicely at 300/450, but depending on the memory used on yours, you may be able to get a good bit more out of it than I did.
