  • is an AMD Athlon 1800+ a Palomino, or a Thoroughbred??

i've been reading reviews on the AMD Athlon 1800+ and it's been common to see that is been overclocking very well, up to 2400+ level, and at newegg the label has Thoroughbred, and has a 0.13 micron core, could this be the source of its overclocking? because its sibling supposed palominos don't seem to overclock as well as the 1800+ and now i'm considering to buy it, so palomino or thoroughbred B?

The Thoroughbred cores are gettin' into the lower models now and these arn't bad at all but it shouldn't take much longer for the Thoroughbred "B" cores to filter down as well and these are even better. :devil win

I couldn't really say as it would vary from country to country and depending on current levels of old stock but I havn't seen any here yet in the lower speeds. : peace2:
