  • overclocking emachines 2.0 ghz celeron?

I don't have this comp yet, but it's on its way. (BTW, it was a STEAL, that's why I got it, I hate big pre-configured systems.)
Is there any way to O/c it that y'all have seen or read? I know it may be limited, depending on emachines' bios and all. Who can gimme some info?
    Thanks!

Nonexistent may be closer to the correct term here. eMachines used stripped down BIOS revisions that are specifically made for them to take away the "Power Settings" that some folks like to play with (gee... like almost all the folks who visit TweakTown :) ).

Your only hope is to look into some of the SoftFSB type programs and see if your chipset may be supported. Other than that, I wouldn't hold my breath for any real chances of success, but if you do get it pumped up make sure to let us know how you did it. :)
