Well, if you go by benchmarking programs, I'd say you'd def get alot more; 2000 points in 3dmark03 def sounds right. In games, teh difference would be less dramatic, but you'll def notice the difference. Remember the 9600p is DX9 compatible, and the Ti4200 is only DX8, so there's some future proofing. Also, the 9600's GPU runs as 400mhz, where as the Ti4200 runs at 250mhz. Also, the 9600p contains all the latest shader programs. The 9600p is essentially a "little" 9800 (with only 4 pipelines, instead of 8). I dont know how much the 9600p will O'c (the Ti4200 o/c's incredibly well), but its stock #'s are way above what the Ti4200 can reach. And at only around $180usd, that's a damn fine card :thumb: . Guessing at how the market following goes, the 9600p might beat out the Ti4200 to become the best "bang-for-your-buck" card on the market. Def a good swap, : peace2: Mista K6

9600 Pros are only $150 here.

They overclock much higher than 4200s...go look for some reviews, there's plenty of them.

I think 9600 overclocks to 540/700 depending on brand.

Mmm, I kinda feel the need for more than the 9600p can offer. I think i should take a look at the 9800np/9800p. I want to keep standars high fo at least a year before I have to upgrade again.
