At $200 you can get a 9700 non pro. The 9600XT will also be $199 and they say it will be faster, but I don't see how that is possible with only 4 pipelines. We will have to see when the reviews come in.

i would wait a bit until the price drops a bit for the radeon XT series or wat every it is.

get the non pro and tweak it to a pro

If you're talking about the 9600, you do NOT want the non pro. It will never reach Pro speeds.

            Sapphire 9600 Pro $150

Or a 9700 non pro. The 9700 will be faster.

I wouldnt go for 9600 to be honest (unless you wait untill XT comes out), thats why i would suggest 9700.

If you can squeeze out just a little more $$ (eg. wait a little bit), i would go for 9700 pro.

For $250 you can get a 9700 Pro.....for $200 you can get a non pro.

Yah, cheers to the 9700Pro, Ati really flubbed up on the 9600 Pro and only giving it 4 pipelines. The 9700 Pro is a little harder to find, as they dont make the 9700 series anymore, but it's not impossible. They are a suberb card for the price, def a good investment. Good luck getting one, : peace2: Mista K6

The Radeons have supported DX9 since the 9500.

All right, well COOL! Haha, cause I haven't really followed the Radeons till the 5900 basically got it's ass kicked by the 9800. A Shame... "Damn you Nvidia!"
