  • what are ati catalyst drivers

can somebody explain to me what are ATI catalyst drivers?

i have an igp 340m and is it already included?

    thanks again.!

bongoloid: If my memory serves me correctly, the 340M is a Pentium 4 Mobile Integrated Graphics Processor. If this is correct, then I would recommend that you use the driver offered by your manufacturer.

"catalysts" are simply drivers for your video card. just ati's version of "Detonators" for nvidia based cards. If you have extra features (eg, AIW, dual-view etc) you need to get the manufacturers drivers. :thumb:

bongoloid, I've merged your threads. there was no need for the second.

Not exactly... If you've got AIW, then you just need to make sure you get the WDM drivers with the Cat drivers. Dual-view is part of the normal Cat drivers.
