TV Tuner & DVD burners??????

I am going to be getting a tv tuner card, I thought the ATI would be a good choice but, I guess not. Can anyone tell me some reason why I should get that MSI instead also, I will be buying a DVD burner at the same time and I would like to take some of the shows and put them on dvd so i can watch them in my home player. I know I need to record in dvd-r, or dvd+r formats. Also does anyone know if I will be able to burn copies of my DVD's or will I have to get some kind of hack software to do that???

The MSI decoder is digital, the ATI decoder is analog.
The MSI can encode Mpeg4 (driver update).
The ATI encodes in Mpeg2.
That's my view on things...

You should be able to burn dvds of TV shows with standard software.

Thanks do you know if the new driver will put the card in stereo>????? Also, can you post the link here to the the driver.
